He is Risen!

I just wanted to do a quick post and wish you all a Happy and Blessed Easter. God became flesh to dwell among us. He died for our transgressions but the grave could not keep Him. He is Risen! Hallelujah. In honor of this wonderful holiday I am going to do my first giveaway. God has used Beth Moore's studies tremendously in my life. I have an extra copy of her book "Get Out of That Pit".

I would like to give this life changing book to one of my readers. Just leave a comment and tell me what you/your family does at Easter. Any special traditions or childhood memories???? I will pick a random winner next weekend!

Have a blessed day!

Hi Denise,

I've done about 10 of Beth's studies. She's annointed for sure. Happy Easter to you. My family and I are going to paint Easter eggs and hide them later today. I couldn't contain my joy in church this morning.
He is Risen!

Happy Easter Denise,
Our family always has a big dinner.
Which has to have sweet potatos and green bean casserole.

Hey! Love following your blog!
Easter morning includes a hunt for Easter baskets (usually involving some hints for the kids to follow throughout the house)
We then head to church, stop by the Homes to take pictures, after church(since I rarely get my daughter in a dress and my boys in dress shirts.) Then we head out to my parents for supper, 2 seperate egg hunts (big kids/little kids) and spending time with my Aunts and uncles.
Easter Day is a special time for us. Almost as much fun as Christmas.
